Kewon Hunter, raised in Mississippi and based in New Orleans, utilizes photography and quilting to artistically express and document Black experiences. He focuses on capturing the essence of joy and cultural traditions, heavily influenced by his ancestors, Mississippi upbringing and a wide range of musical genres. His work is intended to encourage viewers to consider the significance and richness of Black lives and Black Culture.
